Cath lab in CWM Hospital

After many months of attempting to repair the RAWCS cath lab at CWM Hospital in Suva, we finally succeeded.

After many months of attempting to repair the RAWCS cath lab at CWM Hospital in Suva, we finally succeeded.
The problem was a minor mismatch in the configuration after replacing a computer that controls the movements of the stand.
Due to the travel restrictions the Philips field service engineer could not travel to site, and the obvious workaround was to use remote access to the equipment.

Setting up the remote access proved to be very complex with many people involved.
Last week the Philips remote service engineer managed to correct the mismatch and earlier this week we received the confirmation that the equipment is functional again.

Without the persistent efforts of the Philips engineers, Vodafone Fiji and the radiographer on site, we could not have accomplished this repair.
